Geoffrey earned his B.A. from Cambridge University (England) in 1974, and became a barrister in 1975. He has lectured in law at both the University of Liverpool (England) (1976-80) and the University of Leeds (England) (1981-90), held a visiting professorship at the University of Louisville (Kentucky) (1983-84, 1987-88), and served as senior lecturer (1990-94) and reader (1994-95) in law at City University (London, A Chartered Accountant,
Richard Bridges, a qualified Industrial Engineer, has more than 30 years experience as a senior manager, trainer and consultant in production engineering, port, transport, logistics and general project management. For more than two decades he was responsible for international development projects, consulting and training services at the Port of Felixstowe, as Director of Planning and Development, then as Head of Technical Services of Felixstowe Port Consultants. Richard is also a member of the influential Institute of Directors, a Member of the Rotterdam based International Port Training Conference and a Moderator at the London City College.
Jon is a business psychologist and personality profiler, and majors on training and development in a range of interpersonal skills for managers and their teams. Jon’s style is variously described by delegates as ‘dynamic’, ‘energetic’, ‘enthusiastic and knowledgeable’. He has developed a style which brings together his experience of management and interpersonal skills with the latest in training techniques, using fast learning techniques such as NLP and Neuro-Semantics. Jon has a Degree in Psychology, qualified to Levels A+B and specializes in the writing and application of psychometric tests. He is author of the Inter-Personal Relationship Inventory, a personality model which has been developed for sales professionals.
Specialising in business start-ups, Joy Chopp has shared her knowledge with business owners since the 80's. Involved at that time with the Enterprise Allowance Scheme, she has successfully helped hundreds of small and medium enterprises to become successful businesses. For her corporate clients she presents courses on topics such as Assertiveness, Customer Care, Time Management and Stress Management. During her 20 years as a trainer and consultant, Joy has successfully road-tested her own advice, having owned, managed and exited both a Complimentary Health Centre and an Antiques and Craft Fairs organisation. She holds qualifications from the QED & SFEDI (Small Firms Enterprise Initiative).
Venetia Carpenter is a qualified Chartered Secretary, being a Fellow of the ICSA, and is on its UK and International Councils. She is also a Member of the Association of International Accountants and a CEDR Accredited Mediator as well as being Chair of a Community Interest Company. After working in the company secretarial departments of two quoted insurance companies, the second being Commercial Union PLC (now Aviva PLC), she ended her employed career in the company secretarial department of what is now KPMG, offering company secretarial services to the accountancy firm’s clients. Since then, for the last 23 years, Venetia has run her own Chartered Secretarial business offering company secretarial, company law and corporate governance services to public and private companies and charities.
Feroza Cooper is a highly qualified accountant and lecturer with numerous qualifications obtained in America. Her professional career has included working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in London as well as with the Chase Manhattan Bank and trading firms in both London and Singapore.She is currently a senior lecturer on Professional Accounting courses and Masters Degree programs at the London School of Business and Finance.
Richard's specialism is in the field of financial systems, his career spanning both private and public sector organisations. He has managed the implementation, development and support of major accounting packages in a number of large organisations, notably the BBC and the British Council where he was Financial Systems Manager for eleven years. In his time with the British Council, he implemented accounting software in a variety of countries ranging from Morocco to Hong Kong, but especially in Eastern Europe. In addition, Richard lectured on undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Middlesex University from 1978-1995.
Alan Gold is an experienced PR consultant and copywriter who has run his own independent agency since 1987. His clients have come from a variety of sectors including charities, professional practices and small businesses. Previously Alan had spells as a schoolteacher and youth worker before commencing fifteen successful years working within charities to help them raise funds and boost publicity. Alan is the Area Director for Business Development for BNI (Business Network International) in North West London and South Bucks and as such has helped hundreds of people improve their business and professional skills. He is a passionate believer in the efficacy of the power of word-of-mouth marketing, often described as the world’s best kept marketing secret.
Jane Hammond is an experienced public relations practitioner, lecturer and journalist. She holds the CAM (Communication, Advertising & Marketing) Diploma with Distinction, was a CAM examiner for two decades and gives specialist advice on public relations to London University’s Birkbeck College, Thames Valley University and the London College, Kensington. She is a Fellow of CAM and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a member of the International Public Relations Association and the National Union of Journalists. Publications include a chapter in The Practice of Public Relations, a paper to Iran’s first International Symposium on Public Relations Research and many published articles.
Julia Haythorn is a highly experienced trainer, voice coach and certified NLP practitioner. She studied acting at East 15 Acting School, has a BA in English Literature and is a licentiate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. In addition to her acting experience, Julia has been working in the corporate field for over ten years and has designed and delivered numerous team building, presentation skills and communication skills courses for a wide variety of companies throughout the UK and Europe.
John Kilby is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner with a Law Degree and Masters Degree in Business Law who holds the Fellowship Diploma of the Chartered Insurance Institute, John has more than 30 years experience in the industry in the UK and Australia. His career has covered nearly every aspect of insurance, including sales support, new business, policy administration, claims and training. Frequently called on in court to act as an expert witness on insurance matters, John has written numerous books and articles. He has produced reports on Law and Insurance for the Law Commissioners and for the government of the United Kingdom. He has also run training courses on Insurance in Europe, Africa and the Americas.
Brian Kriefman is an experienced educationalist. A knowledgeable lecturer in Finance and ICT and manager in UK higher education, he has been responsible for major international initiatives in the development of commercial activities of both the public and private sectors in the United Kingdom and abroad. His background combines both the education sector and commercial enterprise. Brian’s international work has provided him with multi-cultural business experience and an excellent understanding of multi-cultural education and training.
Vivienne Kriefman secured her first degree (in Psychology & Sociology) from the University of Bath. She is a lecturer in marketing, advertising and sales techniques. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and holds a CAM Diploma in Public Relations. Vivienne has worked with the Director of CAM Foundations, as an Account Executive for KH Publicity, and is currently lecturing in marketing at Thames Valley University where she is a freelance marketing trainer.
Leo Lourdes is a certified corporate trainer in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). He has coached and mentored his clients in streamlining their communication and defining and implementing their success strategies. He is known for his insight when it comes to creating unique solutions to ongoing problems for organisations. His ability to preserve what works and has stood the test of time alongside embracing ideas that are forward looking and growth focused makes him a useful consultant trainer to any company. His passion is in encouraging individuals and organisations to use both creativity and pragmatic thinking as part of their growth.
Jeremy Mant has worked in the automotive products, steel making and drinks industries for over twenty years. More recently he has worked as an independent management and training consultant in the areas of financial management, business planning, logistics, costing, inventory management, demand forecasting, supply chain management, supplier development, computer modelling, and computer training and applications development. His clients include manufacturing companies, professional association, service organisations, consultancies, and training organisations. John Matthews is an experienced and highly adaptable management trainer with a strong financial background and a proven track record in a variety of industries. Commercially aware and results driven with business process re-engineering skills, John can take a strategic overview and has the skills to prepare business plans, budgets, forecasts and targets for Senior Management to tight deadlines. John is also experienced in reviewing and assessing commercial and financial systems and processes, recommending and implementing upgrades, enhancements and cost savings. He can drive major change through strong project management, team building, issue resolution and problem-solving skills.
Albert Peters is an independent Consultant who has worked with LCT for a number of years offering a broad range of Management Training. He is a specialist in Human Resources and course subjects involving the effective utilisation and development of Senior and Middle management. He has also developed and tailored critical course content to match the specific needs of many LCT clients, lecturing in both the UK and in a number of other countries on behalf of LCT. Albert has a background in a number of sectors and has held senior human resources and learning and management and executive development roles in UK and International organisations varying in size from medium-sized family firms through to international organisations with many thousands of staff.
John Reekie graduated from the London School of Economics as an Analytical Economist. He worked in the City of London for seven years as an Investment Analyst and Investment Trust Manager. Subsequently he was a lecturer at the London School of Accountancy and taught many generations of Chartered Accountants. In 1990 he set up his own Business School specializing in Finance, Accounting and Management courses. A Member of the Institute of Petroleum, he has lectured in many countries around the world, including Russia, USA and Australia.
A Chartered Accountant, Stephen Richardson is an experienced trainer specialising in finance and management development programmes. He has 10 years experience in the preparation, design, and delivery of business development programmes. From 1995 until 2000 Stephen worked with Invicta Training as a Training Executive, becoming their Marketing & Development Director in 1997. Since 2000 Stephen has worked as an independent trainer.

Mythili Venkateshwaran is an energetic, motivated, and multi-skilled learning and development/training strategies professional. She has 24 years’ experience in the planning and implementation of complete learning strategies and training delivery covering Human Resources, Personal & Professional Development and General Management for a variety of organisations. John Wallin is a Graduate Electro-mechanical Engineer and Chartered Management Consultant. Following an early career in development engineering and management on avionics systems, he negotiated a change to management consultancy. During the past twenty-five years he has developed his consultancy expertise to chartered standard with a majority of time spent on business development & Human Resources related projects. During the 1980s & 1990s he held appointments as managing director, managing partner and commercial director in three substantial consultancy and training organisations. In the early 1990s he transferred his business base to Malta where he carried out numerous HR projects in the Central Bank, Employment and Training Corporation and Planning Authority.
